はい!

はじめまして、日本の愛知の川沿いに

住んでおりますボブと申します。

2016年も2ヶ月目に突入し、立春を迎えました。

まだまだ冬を満喫したいのですが今年はエルニーニョだかロビーニョだか

知りませんが（引用！）それはそれで良いことがあるのかもしれません。

1月前の話ですが、穂高縦走に行ってきました。

海外の方にはあまり馴染み無いであろう穂高を軽ーく写真で紹介いたします。

〔穂高連峰とは〕

奥穂高岳、涸沢岳、北穂高岳、前穂高岳、西穂高岳、明神岳などの

標高3000m近い峰々からなる連峰の総称で、主に長野と岐阜の境界に

位置し、南から北へ20kmにわたり稜線が伸びています。

岐阜側は岩の露出した地形が多く、長野側は雪で覆われた優しい印象。

登るなら岐阜、落ちるなら長野、滑るなら長野です。笑

〔滝谷〕

Hey it's Bob here! Wow, we have already entered February!!! Well...Sadly for this season El Niño phenomenon or somethins hit Japan and it's been quite warm even in the middle of the winter...

Okay, off the topic ends now, I just went to the climbing trip with my friend to Mt.Hotaka Range (穂高連邦).

Now let me introduce the Mt.Hotaka range to you guys. It consists of multiple mountains including Mt.Okuhotaka,(奥穂高） Mt.Karasawa,（涸沢） Mt.Maehotaka（前穂高） Mt. Nishihotaka（西穂高）and Mt.Myoujin（明神） to name a few. All of these mountains are almost close to 3000m high. Ranging from Gifu to Nagano and it's got about 20km to connect all these peaks between Southern part to the Northern part.

On the Gifu side, the mountains have a very sharp scraggy faces, while on the Nagano side, mountains got more snows and gives softer impression. 

So as a conclusion, if you like to climb, go for the Gifu side, If you want to either fall or ski go for the Nagano side.

さて、どこ登ろうか、、沢山のクライマーの思いの詰まった場所です。

ごつごつした滝谷、稜線へ抜けると反対側には、、

Okay, which route should we try?:) This place got so much Japanese climbing histories. After clmbing Takitani all the way up to the ridge and turned around and on the other side you can see the Karasawa curl(涸沢カール）picture below.

〔涸沢カール〕

白銀に包まれた綺麗な斜面が待っています。

2年前、初めて滝谷を登った時は(色々あって)稜線についた時には24時。

へとへとでしたが、満月に照らされた涸沢カールを見た時は感動し疲れも忘れました。

（一瞬だけ）

滝谷を登り、涸沢に滑り込むなんてやってみたいですね。

There is a just gorgeous slope covered with snow awaits you.

I remember when I first climbed Takitani for the first time 2 years ago,it was almost midnight when I finally reached the ridge.My body felt nothing but exhaustion yey after turning around and seeing the majestic secnery of beautiful snows reflect the lights of fullmoon got me blown away.( Well for a sec another exhaustion hit me right after.)Ha

Climbing up the Takitani and skiing down the Karasawa curl can be a full course meal for the mountain adventure fans!!:)
